The drawer front carries a relief in the round. Run a hand across it and you feel clear ridges and hollows, a touch that machine-pressed texture cannot imitate.
One drawer and one open shelf: the drawer keeps the small things, the open shelf holds books and whatever is wanted before sleep.
The top has a 5mm raised lip along all four edges, so a tipped cup stays on the surface instead of reaching the bedding.
